Chinese club gears up for party THE Chinese Club will celebrate the Chinese New Year with a major function at the Sheraton Hotel on February 12. Club president Frank Liu said 550 people were expected to attend the event.Tickets were $65 each and included a traditional Chinese meal and entertainment by the Alan Brown Big Band and Chinese singers. Mr Liu said 2000 represented the Year of the Dragon, a sign of good luck and prosperity. Tickets for the Sheraton function are still available on 3257 0888....

CHINESE CLUB MARKS YEAR OF THE BOAR The Colorado Chinese Club will celebrate The Year of the Boar with a dinner and an evening of entertainment Jan. 28 at Smoky Hill High School, 16100 E.
